Very comfortable and very effective! – This BenchMaster Rifleman TAC ear protection device works remarkably well! They are very well made and fold up small for storing when not being used. I definitely recommend them!

Good active ear protection – Product worked as described. Suppressed the noise from the people next to me while allowing me to hear the Range officer talking. I didn’t use the input jack so I can’t say anything about the audio quality from that. Under normal function the speakers sounded good, audio quality from the mics was decent, and I am happy to have them.

Works As Expected – Nothing too exciting to report here. They worked as expected and fit me just fine. I’m a medium sized dude with a pretty average oval shaped head. These easily fit over my ears and provided a decent level of protection. I did NOT test them without foam inserts in my ear as well, so I can’t attest to how well they work in that regard. I always double up my hearing protection when shooting. These work great for that.

Definite Upgrade – Sleek looking and way better than what I had before. The BenchMaster Rifleman TAC tested with good noise suppression without inner ear “foamies.” AAA batteries are not included. Suppressed the noise of other shooters firing next to me. The head band is adjustable and comfortable to wear. I did not test the audio/radio plug-in capability. I will in time and think it is a very useful option to have. I detected some feedback in the headset without anything plugged in and the volume/on/off knob turned to the highest position. With the aforementioned caveat, does what the company says it will do.

Volume control helpful for hard of hearing! – These earphones are snug fitting and well cushioned. As someone who wears hearing aides, which you cannot wear when wearing this style of ear protection, it’s super helpful to have the ability to turn up the volume so you can understand what others are saying, yet have the noises of the gun range suppressed. They require two AAA batteries that do not come with these earphones. I can comfortably wear these for an hour or two at a time. Wearing slim profile eye protection is necessary to prevent excessive gaping around the ears cushioned area, and temple discomfort. They do exactly what they are intended to do, while improving my ability to communicate with others!

You can actually hear people speaking through the noise – So I have owned a few different headset that are suppose to suppress high decibel noises. These are no different. They have the ability to protect you ears in a noisy environment, but with 2 AAA batteries (not included), you will see where they really shine. I tested these at work against the pair I currently wear. I found greater clarity in speech, even with the background noise. I work around machinery and the noise levels can be very uncomfortable, There is no chance at having a conversation with someone with the pair I have, but with these, I can actually hear people speak. At the range, these will be your new best friend. I cannot comment on the longevity, but they seem to be well made. They have more padding and are a bit thicker than the ones I currently wear. I would highly recommend.

Comfy and perfect for the range! – I had the pleasure of wearing these today while at the range. I have my own eyes (safety glasses) but I have always had to borrow ears and let me tell you. When you are done borrowing ears, you just hang them back up and the next person takes them and so on, maybe someone eventually wipes them down but that’s kinda gross.
Shot around 500 rounds from a 40 cal glock and with my inners (the soft things you put in your ear) and these outers, I felt great! These are WAY more comfortable than the hard ones that have no more cushioning on them that my range has for borrowing.
I didn’t hook them up to any music as I needed to listen to the range instructions but that is a cool feature I will have to try out when I mow the lawn next! My only wish is that these came with a cool carrying/storage bag but they do fold up nicely!

Works great! Is a little tight – I got these for my older kids and tried them on before giving it to them. I have to say they’re a little tight and uncomfortable. The description didn’t mention these weren’t for adults from what I could see. None the less, it’s original intended purpose works great and this is for my kids anyway so it’ll be perfect.
