5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the price. Fits great under Kevlar. Must have for Infantrymen.

Current US Army airborne infantryman here. I bought these to use exclusively at work. For those of you in the same boat wondering if these fit under the ACH/MICH, they do and perfectly. You just have to loosen the harness from the back near the nape pad. I wear these comfortably with the helmet pads in a jumper’s configuration since we’re not at liberty to remove pads here and there. The only inconvenience is adjusting the straps at night on the helmet after hitting the DZ.

I’ve been using some old leftover batteries, and so far, the battery life has been great. The sound amplification is not as crisp as the Peltors or Sordins but it’s amazing for the price. The only complaint I have is that live ammunition, when fired from my M4 during live fire exercises, when communication is key, completely shuts off the sound for a split second. This doesn’t happen with the expensive electronic headsets. I still gave this headset five stars because the quality cannot be beat for the price, especially for those of you looking for something that fits perfectly under your Kevlar.
